Morgan Gymnastics Owner: Glenn Morgan

Glenn grew up in Clarksdale MS and is a graduate of Clarksdale High School. Glenn served six years with the
United States Marine Corps. After his discharge from active service he attended Mississippi Delta Jr. College
and then went on to a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Mississippi. Glenn holds the USA
Gymnastics National Safety Certification and is a also a licensed USA Gymnastics Professional Instructor.

Morgan Gymnastics Head Coach: Becky Morgan Dein

Part owner and head coach is Becky Dein. Becky was born in Clarksdale MS. She started her gymnastics
training at an early age in a gym that could best be described as a garage in Eufaula AL.

When her parents moved to Water Valley MS she continued in gymnastics at a privately owned facility operated
at the University of Mississippi.

Another move and another gym. This time at another privately owned gym at the Mississippi University for
Women in Columbus MS. It was at this time she started to display a real talent for the sport.

From there she moved to Houston TX to train at Bela Karolyi's gym. She won the Level 5 and Level 6 Texas
State Championship. She not only won Level 6 state, but on her way to the win she finished in first place in
every event at every competition. Only 4 months after winning state as a Level 6 she finished second place in
the state at Level 8. She continued competing through Level 9 and Level 10 and was slated to go elite when at
a junior Olympic regional meet in Wichita KS she severely tore the muscles in her shoulder while competing on
bars. The damage was so severe that she knew her days competing were over.

After a couple of years out of the sport, she was talked into using her knowledge of gymnastics to coach. On
her return to the gym she found how much she missed the sport and she has been coaching ever since. You
will find her enthusiasm for gymnastics very contagious!

Becky holds the USA Gymnastics National Safety Certification and is a licensed USA Gymnastics Professional
Instructor
